Took a Power Test with Tony W (Flamme Rouge) seems the results were a mirror ('ish) image of last time (June 06) with the one big difference being the Lactic result. Last time 25+, this time 6+. Once I get the electronic results I'll produce (last time + this time)

Ok a couple of things here, one being have you caught the latest issue of Cycling Weekly yet? An interesting interview with Floyd Landis who states quite clearly that he has not failed a dope test? or should I say a Positive dope test...uuummmm...this link seems to say he did fail....Ok are we playing a word game here? me thinks so, also very interesting article about the med's he has been taking for an 'old' medical problem (namely the hip problem), the defence? here.

Moving on from that, can someone please tell me what on earth is going on regarding the ICU/Pro Tour and uncle tom cobbly, where is cycling heading? 'e' me please, I'm only a simple folk you know!

Update on events next year, had a big re think and visited 'SportivesFrance.com' then checked my work diary and found a couple of 'juicy' events, hopefully during a sunny period. So therefore I think a flagship race - Ecureuil 160k 31st August till 03rd September- would make a nice main aim, with a couple of others races before hand - La Jodet and La Poulidor 174/158k respectfully 17th May till 21st May (double header, nice) or La Bossis 155k 03rd May till 06th May - any takers?

Yes Mr Williams I would like some sunshine!!

Cycle Weekly's editorial sum's it up, the last paragraph......................it's so true.

Saturday August 5, 2006 17:38:

The 'B' sample is positive .........what to do now? Mr Landis still protests his innocence, I'm sorry but things don't add up. Final readings - normal = 4:1 ... His = 11:1 .. if he can reproduce a reading like that naturally, then it would have shown up before now. He was asked about previous testing during the tour, he couldn't understand why the question was asked? Well Mr Landis it was asked because if you reproduce naturally it would have shown up earlier, or at least some form of difference. If you didn't take anything...JUST SAY SO!!!!!...an incredible statement was read out by Mr Landis, which he just didn't have a clue what he was saying. Its no good using long words when short one's will do...one's like..NO!!...

How to stop this cheating? Well lets start with a life time ban please, why 2 years? doesn't that say if I get caught I'll be back soon, if I don't get caught, no problem....LIFE PLEASE!

Its also now upto the drug takers to spill the beans, who's providing, suppling, taking etc.....If you what to clean up a sport then the athletes must help!

Thursday July 27, 2006 21:46:

Oh dear, it seems as my thoughts of the 20th July might be true. As of this moment in time I shall not be making a statement/comment, but if he is found to be guilty, then I shall.....it makes my blood boil..

Thursday July 20, 2006 23:06:

Been a bit remiss on the news front on the site, sorry been busy @ work. Anyway the TDF is one of the best I've ever seen. Todays stage, the last day in the mountains, Mr F.L. might not pass the urine test, in my opinion that is. Its those tell tail signs.......you know the ones......finishes the race as if he's just started it !!...we shall see.

Monday July 3, 2006 22:32:

As of 03rd July 2006, the DFS Bikers is up and running. My membership to VeloSportJersey is hereby ended.

Well after the 'interesting' scenes surrounding the TDF 2006, which in my opinion at this present moment in time is correct, the race has started. For an excellent piece of coverage click the link and follow the race - TDF 2006.

Jan Ullrich - T Mobile - secures victory in the Tour of Switzerland, an up turn in his fortunes and a good sign for the Tour de France.
